Why You Need to Travel Rail

A rail holiday is one of those journeys you have to try at least once in your lifetime (and we’ll be surprised if you can stop after just one!)

There’s nothing quite like a relaxing cross-country journey aboard the steady and reliable movements of a train. As you witness the Australian outback whisk by before your very eyes, its never-ending beauty will enchant you, leaving the train’s voyeurs mesmerised.

We’re incredibly lucky in Australia to have a wonderful choice of rail journeys to enjoy – from the impressive might of the famous Ghan to the iconic blue of the Indian Pacific. These trains will take you on a journey you’ve only ever dreamed of as you’re immersed in the incredible Australian outback and its never-ending landscape.
